ESL is an acronym that stands for English as a Second Language. Through ESL teaching, Karafé hopes to help students around the world further develop their English language skills.

Alongside her Bachelor’s degree in English: Literature and her Master’s degree in TESOL, Kaitlyn has several years of teaching experience and loves to share her passion for both teaching and the English language with her students.
Although Karafé’s ESL courses are not accredited, we offer a variety of freelance courses – designed and taught by Kaitlyn – to meet the diverse needs of all English language learners. These courses cover a wide variety of subjects at an affordable price.

ESL Courses Offered by Karafé

One-on-One Tutoring
$30/hour
One-on-one tutoring is designed for those not interested in 4- or 10-week courses. This option is best for students who are seeking to improve their language skills in a specific area and design an individualized meeting schedule.
English for Specific Purposes (ESP)
$250/course
ESP courses are 4-week long courses that were designed to teach English as it relates to specific areas. Courses offered in this category include Academic English, Business English, and Tourism English.
IELTS Prep
$300/course
This course is a 4-week course designed to prepare students to take the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) proficiency exam.
TOEFL Prep
$300/course
This course is a 4-week course designed to prepare students to take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) proficiency exam.
General ESL
$550/course
General ESL courses are 10-week courses designed to improve English language proficiency in each of the four language domains: Reading, writing, listening, and speaking. These courses are divided by levels according to the CEFR proficiency scale to best meet the needs of students.

How do I enroll in courses?

How do I know which course is right for me?
If you are interested in Karafé’s ESL courses but don’t know where to start, contact us and we will email you a short form to fill out. This helps us determine how we can best serve you by finding the best course to fit your needs and proficiency level.
What do I need to take ESL courses with Karafé?
You will need a Gmail account and email address, a computer with a working microphone and camera, and a stable Wi-Fi connection.
How can I pay for ESL services?
Karafé currently accepts payment via PayPal and Cash App. All payments for ESL courses must be paid upfront to ensure course enrollment.
